Go! Go! Go!

I recently had the privilege to minister at the Dream Center in Los Angeles. We were right down in the middle of Los Angeles where we saw a lot of poverty, hunger, and hopelessness. Unfortunately, as Americans, this is happening right in our own back yard.

Jesus goes on to say in this parable that when you do it to the least of them, you do it unto Him. I understand that Skid Row may not exist in your city. It certainly does not exist where I am right now. However, I know that if I ask The Lord to show me a place in my city or town where someone might be hungry, thirsty, or in need of clothing, then I’m sure that The Holy Spirit will direct me to them.

Being a Christian is a about taking care of people. It’s about loving God with all we have and then taking His love out to a world that desperately needs Him and just seeing the need and filling it. Jesus can fill every need. Please understand, if Christ is in you, then you have the ability to fill every need at least in some way because of He who lives in you.

THERE IS NO NEED THAT YOU CANNOT FILL AND NO HURT THAT YOU CANNOT HEAL!

It’s not because of who we are but because of who He is in us and who we are in Him. You see, there is power in His Presence. Where His Presence is, His Power is and it’s up to us to take His Presence and power out to a world that desperately needs to see it. It’s also up to us to show them the extravagant love of The Father and to just simply ease their burden; whatever that burden may be, as The Holy Spirit leads us. This is true religion.

I want to encourage all of you today who are looking for “ministry opportunities”. It begins with those who are truly just out of luck and just need some hope. You are that hope. It’s Christ in us the hope of glory. Go and be the love they need to feel. Go and be the joy they need. Go and bring the light into their darkness. Go, go, go in Jesus name and may God bless you abundantly.
